Memories
I just went through a large box of stuff I'd collected over my 6 years at UW & threw out a whole bunch of things that brought memories flooding back from all the crazy times I had at school and on work terms. It's certainly been a long time since I marched into Spuc as a wide-eyed frosh!

If I were [info]thewizard this is where I'd wax poetic for several paragraphs about each item and what it reminded me of. But I'm me so this is all you get.

Ah, "the box". I had suspected that many more people kept them than was apparent. I'm almost afraid of mine. Nothing bad in there, just a time when my emotions were much more raw than they are now, and memories of those are rather overpowering. ACK hugday trauma flashback!

Why throw anything out?

Well, since I'm moving out of mom's place for good at last, she wanted me to minimize the amount of junk left with her. And since I only get to take 2 suitcases with me when I fly to my new home in California, I didn't want to keep all that stuff.

I love my scrapbox. I'm such a packrat; I've found meaningless receipts in there during regular cleanups.

It's good to know I'm still a master in my eljasturbation domain.

Only one box? Tell me you acumulated more than that. I still have about 10 boxes and I graduated 2 years ago!

Yup. I moved to waterloo with a mazda 323 and moved out with a fourteen foot uhaul.
